About Kurvy
 Kurvy brings over 10 years experience to her bellydance performances, combining the styles of traditional oriental, tribal and fire. She believes in bellydance as an artform that allows creative expression through movement, music and the aesthetic. Inspired by her practice in Ashtanga Yoga, Kurvy is influenced by the philosophy of ‘move with softness’. It is this grace, combined with her strength that creates a powerful and fluid performance that reflects the constantly evolving and dynamic environment of not only bellydance, but the world around us. Her ability to draw upon, and fuse, disparate influences, results in a raw showcase of talent that is as earthy as it is dazzling. Kurvy’s costumes captivate while her moves mesmerise. Passionate about the vast array of benefits bellydance can offer, Kurvy has been teaching since 2003 and has co-ordinated and directed many successful workshops. She is a well-known figure in the performance space in and around Sydney and can be hired for private functions, shows and restaurants. Constantly inspired by the changing platform of creative expression, Kurvy has attended regular classes with renowned professionals from differing styles. Her own classes offer a friendly, energetic environment and cover a range of oriental and tribal technique, and choreography. Kurvy’s classes run in Sydney’s Inner West. They are suitable for anyone of any age and fitness and recommended for those wishing to explore their creative expression through movement and performance.
